How to Stay Safe
LG’s ranges include a built-in function called Control Lock or Lock Out that disables activation of the heating elements when the range is not in use. This function should be used on a regular basis by consumers with affected models. To help with this, LG recommends that you obtain a free warning label to remind you to activate the Control Lock/Lock Out function. You may obtain your label by contacting LG at:
Phone: 800-399-3265 (Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET)
Email: lgrange.recall@lge.com
Website: https://lgecares.com/rangerecall
Once requested, the warning label should arrive within 10 business days. Place it on the upper left corner of the oven door following LG’s provided instructions.
Your Safety is Our Priority
LG prioritizes safety, offering this recall as a preventive measure. If you own an affected range, protect your home and family by taking the following actions:

- Use the Control Lock function: Press the button for three seconds. A beep will sound, and a lock symbol or “Loc” will appear.

- Keep children and pets away from the knobs.
- Check knobs before leaving home or going to bed.
- Avoid placing objects on the cooktop when not in use.
